New York Fashion week kicked off this week and it seems that spring 2014 will still be swaying towards demure silhouettes. Most hemlines were past the knee (not great news for short girls like me). Maxi’s seem to become a staple from casual to formal, while jumpsuits seem to have made their way OUT! While most designers stayed with monochromatic tones, designers such as Tadashi Shoji and Zimmerman played with print on fabrics while keeping the look clean, flowy and feminine.
